The distribution will be done by the company itself directly to the customers, so no intermediaries are involved. This will reduce the channel conflicts and provide better control.

Install the units at first in the supermarket chain Supermercados Peruanos SA. Secondly, it will install them in offices, malls, educational centers and events/festivals.
The distribution channels that are needed to be considered are:

Ordering Processing: At first, the customer will order the machines according to their needs and spaces to locate them. They will use special software to make the orders. Most of the machines are produced in Norway, so this system of distribution is operated by “Just In Time”.

Transportation: The machines will be transported by air.
As mentioned before, we have chosen to enter to the Peruvian market through Supermercados Peruanos SA as an exclusive customer (one year contract), however this does not imply an exclusive distribution. It is the only supermarket chain in the country that has the bigger market coverage, so TOMRA will reach all the most important cities in Peru.
